4 frozen Turkey Butcher Burgers
- 1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 cup prepared stuffing (homemade or store-bought)
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced red onions
- Mayonnaise (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Thaw the frozen turkey burger patties according to the package instructions.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Divide each turkey burger patty into two equal portions, forming them into thin patties.
- Place a spoonful of cranberry sauce and a spoonful of prepared stuffing onto the center of one of the turkey patty portions.
- Place the other turkey patty portion on top of the filling, pressing the edges together to seal and form a stuffed turkey burger patty. Repeat with the remaining patties and fillings.
- Season both sides of each stuffed turkey burger patty with salt and pepper.
- Cook the stuffed turkey burgers on the grill or skillet for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they're cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- While the burgers cook, lightly toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
- Once the stuffed turkey burgers are cooked, assemble your burgers: Place lettuce leaves and sliced red onions on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
- Add a stuffed turkey burger patty on top of the lettuce and onions.
- If desired, spread mayonnaise on the top half of the bun before placing it on top of the burger.
- Serve the stuffed turkey burgers hot and enjoy the delightful combination of juicy turkey patties, tangy cranberry sauce, and savory stuffing all in one delicious bite!
